We are delighted to invite you to be part of the IEEE Statistical Signal Processing Workshop (SSP) 2018, which will be held at the spectacular Historical Merchants’ Hall in beautiful Freiburg, Germany. We will continue to update the website as the conference approaches.


Registration information is now available

Registration information including the workshop fee schedule and information about IEEE Signal Processing Society travel grants are now available on the Registration page. Online registration for the workshop will begin on 23 March, 2018.


Paper submission is now closed

Thank you for all of the high quality submissions. We now begin the review process. Notification of paper acceptance and reviews will be available starting on 23 March, 2018.


Paper submission deadline extended until 6 February, 2018!

The deadline for submitting full papers has been extended to 6 February, 2018. This deadline extension is final, and no further extensions will follow. Submission details and information for authors can be found on the For Authors page, and we look forward to your submissions!


The paper submission site is now available!

SSP2018 will use the EDAS online submission system to handle all paper submissions, whether you are submitting to a special session or the workshop at large. Navigate to the For Authors page to find formatting guidelines, templates, the submission link, and other useful information

The IEEE Statistical Signal Processing Workshop has arranged special rates at a wide range of hotels during the workshop from 10-13 June, 2018. You can see the available hotels, rates, and features in the Hotel Booking form. Reservations need to be made by 27 April, 2018 in order to receive the discounted rate. Information on presenting Signal Processing Letters now available!

Letters published by the IEEE Signal Processing Letters (SPL) may be presented at SSP 2018, subject to approval by the Technical Program Chairs. See the Presenting Signal Processing Letters page for more information.


Plenary speakers for SSP 2018 have been announced!

SSP 2018 will enjoy plenary lectures from experts representing a broad range of research areas. Stop by the Plenaries page for short biographies and homepage links to each of the speakers.

Abstracts and talk titles will be added as they are received.


Instructions for Special Session Proposals added

Special sessions are expected to address research in focused, emerging, or interdisciplinary areas of particular interest, not covered already by traditional SSP sessions. Instructions for proposing such a session are now posted on the Special Session Proposals page.
