Special hotel rate has been extended
The special SSP 2018 hotel rate has been extended for many of the conference hotels. Rooms booked by 17 May, 2018 can take advantage of this discount. See the updated Accommmodation page for details.
Poster and presentation guidelines posted
Each session of the 2018 IEEE Statistical Signal Processing Workshop is a poster session, allowing extensive interaction and networking. To find poster specifications and other presentation details check out the Presentation Guidelines page.
Workshop program now available
The SSP 2018 program is now available on the Program page. There you will find a day-by-day break down of workshop events and the papers being presented in each session. Stay tuned for more details about the SSP 2018 social program.
Acceptance decisions announced
Acceptance decisions have been emailed to all authors. If you have not received this email, please check your EDAS account. Final papers must be re-submitted to EDAS by 20 April, and at least one author must be registered at a non-student rate by 20 April.
Paper acceptance decisions have been delayed.
Authors will be notified on 27 March 2018 as to the acceptance of their submissions. Thank you for your patience.

Registration information is now available
Registration information including the workshop fee schedule and information about IEEE Signal Processing Society travel grants are now available on the Registration page. Online registration for the workshop will begin on 23 March, 2018.
Paper submission is now closed
Thank you for all of the high quality submissions. We now begin the review process. Notification of paper acceptance and reviews will be available starting on 23 March, 2018.
Paper submission deadline extended until 6 February, 2018!
The deadline for submitting full papers has been extended to 6 February, 2018. This deadline extension is final, and no further extensions will follow. Submission details and information for authors can be found on the For Authors page, and we look forward to your submissions!

Information on presenting Signal Processing Letters now available!
Letters published by the IEEE Signal Processing Letters (SPL) may be presented at SSP 2018, subject to approval by the Technical Program Chairs. See the Presenting Signal Processing Letters page for more information.
Plenary speakers for SSP 2018 have been announced!
SSP 2018 will enjoy plenary lectures from experts representing a broad range of research areas. Stop by the Plenaries page for short biographies and homepage links to each of the speakers.

Instructions for Special Session Proposals added
Special sessions are expected to address research in focused, emerging, or interdisciplinary areas of particular interest, not covered already by traditional SSP sessions. Instructions for proposing such a session are now posted on the Special Session Proposals page.
