The IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is pleased to provide travel grants on a highly competitive basis to student and non-student authors in developing countries. The grants will be awarded to a limited number of applicants who have a genuine need for support and have a paper accepted at SSP 2018.
Decisions are based on the quality of the paper to be presented and a reference letter from your supervisor or a senior colleague familiar with your work. You must be a member of the IEEE SPS at the time of application. (Find out more information on how to join SPS.)
The grants can only be used to cover the travel expenses of the applicant to attend the approved conference. Grants only cover partial travel costs. The travel grant selection committee reserves the right to award a different amount than requested. The grants are on a reimbursement basis following instructions given to grantees.
Applications (including the reference letter) must be received by 13 April 2018, and decisions will be announced on 18 April 2018. Later applications are possible if the funds have not been fully allocated yet.
